As we wait for our own Port of Leith whisky to mature, Leith Bond is our way of sharing remarkable spirit from distilleries we love.
A nod to the bonded warehouses that once made Leith the heart of Scotland’s drinks trade, the Leith Bond is the warehouse and blending room of Port of Leith Distillery.
Today, we release the first two whiskies in our new Leith Bond Single Cask Series: a growing collection where each release takes its name from an idiom that mirrors something true about the distillery behind it.
Each one tells its own story, and the first two are now ready.

| Ben Nevis still works much as it always has: a traditional distillery with an inimitable style, that remains unchanged by the years. On the nose, it’s savoury and playful: grilled pears, prosciutto and hints of tobacco, opening into sea-salted caramel, roasted pineapple and hazelnuts. The palate is bold and textured, with sultanas, stracciatella yoghurt and a meaty edge that’s telling of Ben Nevis. 52% • Second-Fill Oloroso Hogshead • 300 Bottles Only |

| The stills that made it are famously pear-shaped, but there’s nothing off-course about this one. The nose is dominated by rich, damp peat balanced with dark chocolate, banana bread, smoked bacon and maple syrup. The palate follows with burnt toast, cloves, star anise and deep sherry sweetness, finishing long, smoky and bold. A powerful Islay whisky where peat and PX meet perfectly. 52% • Refill PX Hogshead • 302 Bottles Only |
