- Visit Lyne Down’s orchards and cider house if you want to step back in time. Using long-held traditional methods, Mark Catlin and his family are producing artisan ciders and perries.
- Located on the Marcle Ridge, Herefordshire’s heartland of cider and perry making, Lyne Down grows 30 different cider apples and perry pears. Arriving on the scene in the mid-2000s, cider-maker Mark scooped the Best Newcomer in the 2007 Flavours of Herefordshire Awards.
- As well as ciders – some single varietal – and perries, look to Lyne Down for cakes, Christmas hampers and cider barrel tubs.
