London beer city takes root

The first London Beer City week lands in town on 9 August with a riotous mix of events.

With the backing and inside knowledge of Will Hawkes, this year’s Beer Writer of the Year and author of invaluable app and handy Craft Beer London guide, this is worth clearing your diary for and making tracks to the Big Smoke.

From insider tours of groovy, bijou breweries to specially matched dinners, from beer bike tours with Brewdog to beer-infused historical walks around town, this is your chance to see, taste and experience why London has recently become one of the most exciting cities for flavour-loving drinkers.

I have listed a few of my highlights below, but visit the London Beer City website to decide what you will head to and to book your tickets, and follow @LondonBeerCity on twitter for updates.
