Glasgow's Whisky Festival

19 November 2011 - 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Glasgow's Whisky Festival LogoReturning to The Arches at Central Station, Glasgow's Whisky Festival looks set to be a bigger affair than the first, sold out event, with extra space booked and more exhibitors attending.

Alongside Scotland's newest whisky, from Abhain Deargh distillery on the Island of Lewis, and Scotland's newest distillery, Kingsbarns in Fife, will be a good gathering of independent bottlers, showing a selection of rare old delights.

With more than 40 exhibitors confirmed so far, the festival will offer keen whisky fans a whistlestop tour of every region in Scotland, along with excursions to points further afield – Lark distillery is based in Tasmania, and Four Roses Bourbon hails from Kentucky.

Look out, too, for appearances from some of DrinkBritain.com's favourites, including Bruichladdich, Isle of Arran and Glenmorangie.
