Oliver's Classic Perry
Perry pears are very different to dessert pears, often being much rounder and smaller in shape, as with these ones seen here in Tom Oliver's special orchard. Some hail from ancient trees, such as a 150-year-old Barland perry tree,
Throw in a delicious splash of oak ageing and you offer this flavourful perry more depth than often found in classic perries. Nice rounded flavours, this is highly food friendly, from light curries through to Asian salads and light cheeses, and is equally enjoyable drunk solo.
