Visit Tuckers, the only working malthouse in the UK, to see how beer’s most fundamental ingredient, malted barley, gets its flavour. Then take a look around its beer shop, with around 200 British  beers, including examples of any bottled ales produced by the breweries supplied by Tuckers.

Wychwood Brewery

Near the medieval forest of Wych Wood on the edge of the market town of Witney you'll find the home of Hobgoblin, a creature of legend with a fanbase the world over.  The home of Britain’s third bestselling bottled premium beer, Wychwood Brewery receives thousands of visitors, a fifth from outside these shores, and interest is never greater than at Hallowe'en.

Black Sheep Riggwelter

Winner of double gold in the 2009 Great Taste Awards  – the drink equivalent of a Michelin Star – Riggwelter from the Black Sheep brewery is a rich tipple, with the aroma of roasted coffee and a complex palate and classic Goldings hoppy flourish on the finish.

Boots & Beer Walking Festival 2011

Begun in 2002 by the Black Sheep Brewery in the wake of the 2001 foot and mouth crisis to encourage visitors back to the Yorkshire Dales, recent years have seen over 450 hardy souls take part. With plenty of walks, evening entertainment and – of course – plenty of fine ales on tap, this draws a large number of repeat visitors from around the country.

Tall Ships Race 2010, Hartlepool

With a million people expected to watch the 100 Tall Ships cross the finishing point as they sail into Hartlepool, Black Sheep will be the pint being poured in The Village, between PD Ports Victoria Harbour and Hartlepool Marina.

Oasts & Toasts with The Hop Farm

To make the most of your day out in Kent, Biddenden Vineyards has teamed up with the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood. Beginning with a tour of the vineyards at 11.30am and a ploughmans lunch with a glass of wine, the tour then heads to the Hop Farm where hops and their heritage "will come alive".
